Trump Mocks MSNBC Host For ‘Crying’ And Apologizing For Incorrect Story

President Donald Trump is fantastic at trolling who he thinks are his enemies in the press and he has done it again. The president attacked and mocked MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell for crying when he apologized for getting a story on the president incorrect.“Crazy Lawrence O’Donnell, who has been calling me wrong from even before I announced my run for the Presidency, even being previously forced by NBC to apologize, which he did while crying, for things he said about me & The Apprentice, was again forced to apologize,.“This time for the most ridiculous claim of all, that Russia, Russia, Russia, or Russian oligarchs, co-signed loan documents for me, a guarantee.“Totally false, as is virtually everything else he, and much of the rest of the LameStream Media, has said about me for years. ALL APOLOGIZE!“The totally inaccurate reporting by Lawrence O’Donnell, for which he has been forced by NBC to apologize, is NO DIFFERENT than the horrible, corrupt and fraudulent Fake News that I (and many millions of GREAT supporters) have had to put up with for years. So bad for the USA!”

On Tuesday the host claimed that there was evidence that Russian Oligarchs cosigned for loans for President Trump when he was a businessman.

He told fellow host Rachel Maddow that a “single source close to Deutsche Bank has told me that the Trump — Donald Trump’s loan documents there show that he has co-signers.

“That’s how he was able to obtain those loans, and that the co-signers are Russian oligarchs,” he said to a pretend shocked Maddow.

“That would explain — it seems to me — every kind word Donald Trump has ever said about Russia and [Russian President] Vladimir Putin, if true, and I stress the if true part of this,” he said.

He said it would “test the Trump theory that he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and his supporters would still be with him.”

“Yeah, man. Seriously,” Maddow said, pretending to be a fair and impartial journalist. “That’s the financial equivalent of that.”

“Now, I want to stress, that’s a single source. This has not been confirmed by NBC News, I have not seen any documentation from Deutsche Bank that supports this and verifies this,” O’Donnell said.

“This is just a single source who has revealed to me, and that’s where that stands at this point. It’s going to need a lot more verification before that can be a confirmable fact.”

Apparently that verification that he was praying for did not come to pass as, on Wednesday, he walked back the allegations.

“Last night I made an error in judgment by reporting an item about the president’s finances that didn’t go through our rigorous verification and standards process.

Not certain if that is the worst apology in the history of apologies but the fact that he followed it with a plug for his show made it worse.

“This is one of the reasons that a majority of Americans have lost trust in the media,” White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said.

“Instead of applying ethics and standards to their reporting, journalists and left-wing outlets have weaponized the media, using it to attack and harass people with little to no regard for the truth.”
