Ilhan Omar Rushes Away When Reporter Confronts Her About Alleged Affair
August 31, 2019 | by James G. Dalton
Rep. Ilhan Omar is no stranger to scandal and controversy. It seems to follow her wherever she goes.
You’d think that news reporters would be very interested in finding out more about reports that Omar had an affair with a married man and directed her campaign to pay him hundreds of thousands of dollars.
But you’d be wrong.
The mainstream media is ignoring the story, and even trying to bury it under hopes for an economic recession. Anything to keep Donald Trump from winning re-election in 2020, right?
Multiple outlets still have not reported on Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar’s alleged use of $223,000 in campaign funds to pursue an affair with a married man. CNN, ABC, CBS, the New York Times, The Daily Beast & Vox have thus far completely ignored the story. 🤔 https://t.co/6JOg3whIOE

CNN still has not written any reports about Ilhan Omar allegedly having an affair with a married man, breaking up a family, and violating campaign finance laws

At least one news reporter, however, is trying to do their job. And Rep. Omar is definitely NOT happy to have to face a reporter who’s finally asking the right questions.
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), as is becoming a pattern, refused to answer reporters’ questions about her latest scandal — instead scurrying away to avoid controversy.
A New York Post reporter confronted the congresswoman outside a “Black Maternal Health” event being held at the University of Minnesota alongside fellow squad member, Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.).
The Post broke the story earlier this week that Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett had filed for divorce from her husband Tim Mynett, alleging in court documents that he carried out an affair and made a “declaration of love” for Omar.
Complicating matters for the progressive representative is the fact that Tim Mynett is a political consultant whose firm, E Street Group consulting, has been paid $230,000 since 2018 by Omar’s campaign.
As you can imagine, there are plenty of questions.
Omar, however, has no interest in answering them …

The New York Post adds:
The freshman Democratic congresswoman appeared ahead of a scheduled event at the University of Minnesota when a Post reporter asked her about claims she broke up the marriage of Tim and Beth Mynett.
But instead of answering, Omar nervously made a beeline to make small talk with a police officer who was standing outside the campus’ Mayo Memorial Auditorium.
She then headed inside for the packed event about “Black Maternal Health” with Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.). …
Oh, and in breaking news, it now appears that Rep. Omar wants to completely turn U.S. sovereignty over to the United Nations.
She’s calling it the UN “High Commissioner,” whose job will be to stop the United States from protecting its borders.

What do you think of Rep. Ilhan Omar? Is the scandal a big nothing burger? Or should reporters keep pressing her until we get some answers?
