Bolton Book Leak Happened The Same Day His Book Became Available For Pre-Order

January 28, 2020   |   by James G. Dalton

The New York Times published new impeachment claims by former National Security Advisor John Bolton from Bolton’s new book due in March on Sunday, the same day that Bolton’s book became available for pre-order.

The revelations from Bolton’s book, according to unpublished manuscripts reviewed by the New York Times, are Bolton accusing President Donald Trump of tying Ukraine military aid to political motivated investigations.

The Times reports that in the book, Bolton’s timeline of events last year show Trump wanting to continue withholding nearly $400 million in military aid to the European nation until Ukrainian officials pledged to investigate corruption related to the Biden family.

Bolton’s book reveals what the former national security advisor would have likely told Congress over the course of the impeachment proceedings and comes as the question over whether the Senate will call witnesses to offer new trial testimony remains open. Bolton has said he would comply with a Senate subpoena to testify in the impeachment trial if requested.

House Democrats rushed the impeachment investigations in the House last fall in an effort to force a full-chamber vote on the articles by Christmas, arguing that Trump was an urgent danger to the survival of American democracy. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi then undercut the Democrats’ case for urgency by withholding the articles of impeachment from the Senate for a trial to begin by more than four weeks.

Bolton’s new claims contradict testimony from multiple witnesses who appeared before the House arguing that the president wanted no quid pro quo with Ukraine over the military aid, which was ultimately released by congressional deadline.

A copy of Bolton’s book was provided to White House officials to vet the manuscript for classified information in a standard process by former government officials who write books. The timing of the manuscript’s leaked details to the New York Times to coincide with the book’s availability for pre-order online raises questions about the allegations’ credibility. Bolton’s team has denied being behind the leak, blaming the New York Times’ scoop on those working on the review process in the White House under the National Security Council’s Records Management Division.

“It is clear, regrettably, from The New York Times article published today that the prepublication review process has been corrupted and that information has been disclosed by persons other than those involved in reviewing the manuscript,” Bolton attorney Charles Cooper said in a statement to the Associated Press.

This story is not totally true. A manuscript was given to the White House in December, 2019. Please report factual information.

Any way you spin it the fact that Bolton just came out with this so called accusation there is a smell of money and Democrats behind it. The real question should be do you have any actual evidence like a transcript or other people that can attest to what Bolton is saying. If No then stop this circus impeachment trial and go back
to actual productive work that our taxes are paying you for. Trump is out there trying to do his job while you are trying to remove him.

Most of the Democrats in my view have become the party of Demonrats. They lost the 2016 election and say they were screwed but keep in mind Trump won by a landslide electoral vote and Hillary secured the popular vote? Not sure exactly how that happened anyone’s guess.
Now Adam Schiff and his cronies admitted they do not trust Americans to vote fairly in 2020. Sounds like a full blown socialist saying we want to take away your right to vote? Most Americans that have been listening to the Demonrats know what they are planning for us.

Interesting that Bolton is not the one making the claims, nor is he coming out and disavowing statements coming out of the New York Times. It’s as if he’s saying, “If you really want to know, buy the book.” The timing of the leak was planned as well as the offer to testify to Congress. This disgruntled employee is raising his middle finger to Trump while looking for his 15 minutes of fame. Just like all the other sensational claims that turned out to be baloney in the Kavanaugh Hearings and the Mueller Report, this one may not measure up to the present hysteria. And if what is said is true, it’s not an impeachable offense, anyway. Quotes from the book are not available nor has anyone stated that they have actually read the manuscript. I for one am going to wait before commenting one way or the other. These bureaucrats wear me out with their whining and infighting.

Bolton has been a snake his entire career, I was not impressed when Trump hired him. He has always been a loose cannon.

Everyone knows that Bolton is going to say or write anything to get revenge for being fired by President Trump. He thinks he’s a “know it all” and was embarrassed by his being let go.

Reason Bolton wants to testify in the Senate is because he would be immune but not in the house. That means by being protected he could lie a lot and have Americans believe his lies. He was fired by President and now he wants to ruin
      him.

First, I have no idea what Mr. Bolton’s claims are. But as soon as I heard these new revelations, it was as if a huge “skeptical light” went on in my brain. Doesn’t anyone else see a pattern emerging? Or is it just me? Everyone seems to be writing a new salacious book. I suppose it is Mr. Bolton’s turn to do the same, though the timing seems pretty strange. And now, another leak to the New York Times. Pattern? At this point, who knows? Like all the other leaks, there’s a momentary cause for alarm. Then they seem to fade away and never discussed again, until the next leak. What I want to know is…who is doing this?

The timing couldn’t be better, for Bolton! Just look at all the free publicity he is getting on the first day that his book is available for pre-order. It was pre-planned to do just that. I used to like Bolton, but he turned out to be another snake-in-the-grass Trump-hater. Another one bites the dust.

Number 1 on the list should be if the Ukrainian administration had ever been told that there was a hold on funds until X, Y or Z occurred. If not the President or anyone else is perfectly free to want anything or think any damn thing that suits them. That is not a crime or any offense at all. It only arises to the level of an offence when the parties involved are aware of the set conditions. If the target of said conditions is unaware of set conditions and they experience no effect then nothing has occurred at all. ASNP go smoke another bowl.
The real hairy turd is that our entire system seems to be carpeted with moles, sympathizers, power grabbers and money crazed perverts. A manuscript or any document which does contain or is being examined for classified information should by rights have NO portion of it found outside of the secure channels until it is officially cleared. Anyone found to have released any material prior to clearance should be charged with the appropriate level of mishandling or disclosure of classified or at least sensitive information and told to practice, ‘Would you like fries with that.’. When you get out of jail, you may need it, if they will hire you. After all they may use a secret recipe.
PEACE, GOOD HEALTH AND MAKE AMERICA GREAT ALWAYS. It seems to be harder and harder.

The Democrats will never give up trying to impeach President Trump> It seems funny that the book surfaced during the trial i hope that this does not make the Senate find him guilty . President Trump has done a great job.
